The design represents Howard's famous story of how baby elephants are trained by tying their feet to a tree when they're young. They grow up believing when the rope is taught, they cannot summon the strength to free themselves, despite their actual size or strength.
The size is about 10 inches in length and carved from cherry wood. Took about a week to carve and completed August 27, 2022..
