This koa wood Carvin was carved for Ed Clark of Conway, Arkansas

He wanted a Jerry Garcia commemorative guitar.

Ed originally said he didn't want it "as busy" as some of my work. He wanted a simple design of Jerry and roses with wolf ear horns. I started with a computer sketch (left) Then he wanted his intials (EJC) added... then the tiger... then more roses... roses in the hair and beard... around the intials... then the "Steal Your Face" logo... oh, my !

Ok... So... it's a little busy. But we like it And I think Jerry would have, too.
