This is the second guitar I carved. I did it for my roomate, Lee, in 1969. The first was for Brian Cole, of the Association, and was later bought by Mike Botts, the drummer from Bread, who had me re-do it. So this really the earliest one... still as it was when I did it.

The body is decorated with symbols that have to do with astrology, astronomy, fantasy games, and alchemy. This is accentuated by massive baroque scroll work work and a pick guard in black on white carrying the "Mallory coat of arms.".
