Probably the most intricate and difficult guitar I've ever attempted.
Lee contacted me, by email, about making a custom body medusa head guitar. He wanted a hideous woman's face with lots snakes along with a scull and a boney arm somewhere in the design. After sending images back and forth, we settled on this design. I think it rocks!
Lee built the oversized body blank out of hard rock maple. It has a set neck and it's set up for a Floyd Rose bridge and single pickup. From this point, she's going to the grafix guy for color detail then back to Lee for hardware and final setup. I'll repost pix of the finished Medusa when she's completed.
