Buck had this idea of building a hot rod guitar. Paying tribute to the American Hot rod and The "Big Daddy" of hot rods, Ed Roth. So we fooled around with Kar-Toons and Rat Fink and some pinstriping and came up with
"THE ORIGINAL STRAT FINK"
Floyd fell on to hard times later on and had to sell it. But some years later, when fortune smiled on him again, he contacted me and asked if I'd make him another one.
Normally I don't care to make copies of pieces I've already done. But Floyd really wanted it and... well... it's always been one of my favorites. completed November, 2021
