Zain originally wanted a copy of Rob Hill's Dragon/Wizard guitar . But, as the sketches progressed he was inspired to make it a Lord of the Rings tribute. I started with a Les Paul style body, Gandalf, with a mother of pearl sword, faces the pearl eyed dragon, The Rivendell compound rests in the upper quadrant, a "dr" Hobbit hole beneath the bridge, Gollum cowering in the lower horn and the Dark Tower inlaid in mother of Pearl between pickups.
The gold plated hardware includes volume and tone knobs. Selector switch, wrap around bridge, strap buttons, soap bar pickups from GFS. The peghead sports a flower incrusted gold ring and locking gold tuners. 4 coats of Nitro Lacquer finish. Completed 6/24/2025 .
