Started out as a Gibson SG Special - Jonathon contacted me by phone wanting a guitar carved. He didn't even know what guitar he wanted carved. He bought this SG Special with EMG active pickups and sent it to me. At first it was going to be a scarecrow in a pumpkin patch. Then he thought maybe some skulls among the pumpkins. Then, instead of the scarecrow, a skeleton hanging from a tree... a tree like the Goth SG Chiller tree. Cool. So we did it. The back has an access cavity for changing the 9 V pickup battery, covered with a fender style neck bolt plate.
