The Grumpy Old Management Company of London, England saw the WANGCASTER guitar on my website.
They contacted me by email, inquiring about cost and time for completion. They wanted to order one as a gift for Stuart Camp, an executive in their organization.
We settled the business and I began work on the guitar. Having made 3 Wangs before, I learned a lot about how to make it attractive and functional. The cherry wood body had a lower slung scrotum allowing for a better strap hang. A maple neck and fret board with black locking Sperzel tuners. Gold foil single coil strat pickups from GFS and a solid mount black adjustable bridge. The shipping was a problem. The delivery was held up for several months due to Britain's postal politics. But it was finally delivered and cheered up the old grumpies
